I woke up at three in the morning and had a hour and a half workout. Then I moved boxes all day. I needed a beer. Noticed that Naked City tapped Pliny the Elder so I stopped by.
Pliny the Elder
This is the reason why I stopped in. Whenever I am in a bar and they've tapped Pliny, I put it in my mouth.
Naked City Hoptrocity
Whenever I go into Naked City, I try to have at least one Naked City beer. I didn't write any notes for this, but I remember it was more malty than hoppy. Very delicious beer, you guys. Good job!
Full Sail ESB
I heard great things about this beer so I decided to try it. I am not the biggest fan of ESB beers but this was pretty good. I can see myself drinking this in the summer time.

Why I love Great Divide
Bought these two beauties at Chuck's Hop Shop in Greenwood and will enjoy them soon. But right now I just wanted to brag that I have these in my fridge waiting for me.
Great Divide Hercules Double IPA
Great Divide Hercules Double IPA
10% ABV
Drank this on tap at The Yard in Greenwood.
This beer was poured to the top so I didn't get any head. Very hazy, rusty orange color. The smell was of grapefruit hops, caramel malts, and some dark fruits. Very smooth taste, not as hoppy as I would have expected. It had a medium body and not too much carbonation. It was very delicious and all though it should be a sipper, it is very easy to drink this fast. I felt that even though it is a Double IPA, it reminded me more of a light barley wine. I think that is because of the caramel malts and the dark fruits I was getting in the nose.
An excellent beer, like all of the Great Divide beers I have had, and one I would have again. No questions asked.
